The man from Montrose Scott Forbes has been a regular performer, MC at breakneck comedy and has become an audience favourite. From observations to impressions, his straight to the point quick wit humour always has the audience in raptures. In 2019 he supported Gary Meikle on a number of tour dates and also had his first successful sold out show “Adulting” at Glasgow international Comedy Festival.“Rapid fire natural delivery” Evening Express“He gets you quick and once he does it’s machine gun laughter all the way “ Gary Meikle
Imagine your doctor decided to swap the stethoscope for a microphone and found out laughter really is the best medicine. Meet Dave Wandless, an observational and satirical comedian who weaves his experiences as a GP into a hilarious commentary on the state of the NHS, the absurdities of modern medicine, and the joys of living (un)healthily. With a cheerful, cheeky, and self-deprecating style, Dave has audiences wondering if he’s actually a practicing doctor (we think in a good way - they think he should be a comedian!).
After being told by a seasoned comic to "get a life" and a psychiatrist to "get a good strong girlfriend," Dave did one better: he got married, took a 10-year hiatus, and returned to comedy with a prescription for laughter. Since then, he’s had two sell-out performances at Breakneck Comedy in 2024 and has shared the stage with comedy heavyweights like Craig Campbell, Larry Dean, and Justin Moorhouse.
By day, he's a dedicated GP and university lecturer shaping the doctors of tomorrow; by night, he's the doctor making you laugh till it hurts. Come see why medicine and comedy make the perfect remedy!
attoo Dave has stormed the Scottish comedy scene since he started in May ‘22.His dry, dark humour is perfect for his wild (and true) stories.Already a regular at The Stand, he runs the Wholesome Prison Blues comedy shows in prisons across Scotland. With two full runs at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Dave continues to excel, as one of the country’s top rising stars.
