Peter White began performing comedy in 2005. Within a year, Peter was named one of the “Top 5 Up and Coming Comedians in Canada” by CBC Radio’s “So, You Think You’re Funny?” He has headlined clubs, theatres and corporate events across Canada, . He has performed at many of Canada’s top festivals, including the Just For Laugh’s Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Montreal Comedy Festival, and three consecutive years at the Halifax Comedy Festival.Peter has taped his own hour long special for CTV and the Comedy Network’s Comedy Now. He has written for the Gemini Award Winning This Hour Has 22 Minutes and the Gemini Award Nominated ‘That’s So Weird’ on YTV. Peter has also appeared in a TV mini-series with Pierce Brosnan. He has written and performed on both CBC Radio One and XM Satellite Radio as well as writing for the Halifax Chronicle Herald and the online portion of Vice Magazine. His writing has been nominated for both Canadian Comedy Award and a Writer’s Guild of Canada Award.
