Jay Handley used to make furniture. In November 2010 he did his first stand up gig at the Midlands Art Centre and woodwork lost it’s appeal overnight.Since then he has performed at some of the country’s best clubs including The Glee Club, Jongleurs, The Comedy Store, The Stand, Baby Blue and The Komedia.He has twice been a finalist in the Birmingham New Act of the Year awards as well as reaching the semi-finals of LOADED Magazine Search For A Star and the final of the Levity Festival Act of the Year.In 2014 he performed his first one man show “Free Comic” at the Edinburgh Fringe.
